Who we are
This website belongs to Lakhdar Coaching, the leadership coaching practice of Hakim A. Lakhdar, based in Florida in the United States. Lakhdar Coaching is responsible for the information you share here, and this page covers this website. For any question about your information, email info@lakhdarcoaching.com.
What you choose to share
Requesting a conversation. When you send the request form, we receive your name, email, role and organization, the topic you choose and your message. Share only what you’re comfortable putting in writing; there’s always room to say more in conversation.
Sharing your core values. When you send your results from the Personal Core Values Exercise, we receive your name, email, your optional note and the values you chose.
These forms are handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Netlify stores each submission, screens it for spam using a service called Akismet, and emails it to Hakim’s inbox, which runs on Google Workspace. We never sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Why we use it
Hakim uses what you share only to reply to you and to prepare for your conversation. That rests on our legitimate interest in answering your request and, if you become a client, on the work we agree to do together. Google Analytics, described below, runs with your consent where the law asks for it, and elsewhere on our interest in learning which pages help visitors, which you can turn off at any time.
What stays on your device
The Personal Core Values Exercise saves your choices in your own browser, so you can pick up where you left off. They aren’t sent to us unless you choose to share them. “Start over” clears them. Your cookie choice is also kept in your browser, under the name lc-consent.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to learn which pages help visitors. It records the pages you visit, how far you scroll, links you follow to other sites, the topic you choose on the request form, your device and browser, the site that referred you and your approximate location. It doesn’t receive what you type into the forms.
Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. We don’t use Google Analytics for advertising, it isn’t linked to any advertising account, and we don’t use any other tracking cookies. We don’t allow other companies to track you across websites through this site.
If you’re in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first: no analytics cookie is set unless you accept. Until then, Google may still receive basic information without cookies, such as the page you viewed, to help estimate visits. Everywhere else, analytics is on unless you decline.
Wherever you are, you can accept or decline at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Declining also removes any analytics cookies already set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as declining.
Technical information
Like any website host, Netlify processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages securely and keep the site running.
Where it’s processed
Netlify, Akismet and Google are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Netlify and Google provide data processing terms that include the safeguards European and UK law recognize for transfers like these.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions while we’re in touch and for up to two years after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, they stay with your client records. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve shared with us, to receive a copy of it, to limit how we use it, or to object to it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@lakhdarcoaching.com and Hakim will take care of it personally.
If you’re in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can also contact your local data protection authority, such as the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office.
