Hakim has lived a life of rich exploration and adventure. From living his early years in the Kuwait/Saudi Arabia to living and studying in Morocco. From playing music across the Southeast and Key West to working as an actor and stunt professional in South Florida (ask him about the Spanish soap operas), he has embraced every chapter of his journey as a stepping stone to his true calling. Before transitioning to full-time coaching, Hakim spent over two decades in the legal profession, where he held roles in globally recognized institutions like the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), Harvard Law School (HLS), and the University of Miami School of Law. His career has always centered on coaching, advising, and fostering professional development within teams and organizations.
Career Highlights
- American Bar Association (ABA) Rule of Law Initiative: Hakim supported international recruitment, conducted staff training, and managed legal reform programs across Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
- Harvard Law School: He oversaw all operations and finances for the Center on the Legal Profession and Executive Education Program. Hakim also co-launched a staff development program, Emerging Leaders, and completed his M.B.A. in International Management and Marketing from Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business.
- University of Miami School of Law: As Director of Professional and Intellectual Life Programming, Hakim designed executive education programs and professional development initiatives for legal professionals while also fostering interdisciplinary collaborations as Executive Liaison for Joint Degree Programs.
