The coaching

What is leadership coaching?

Leadership coaching is a confidential, one-to-one partnership that helps you lead yourself and others with more clarity, confidence and compassion. Rather than handing you answers, a coach asks the questions that help you see your own thinking, patterns and choices more clearly.

For Hakim, it starts with self-leadership. The work is less about adding new tactics and more about who you are being as you lead: how you listen, decide and respond, especially under pressure. From there, you choose what you want to change, and the coaching supports you as you do.

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching is one-to-one coaching for the people who lead organizations: CEOs, founders, executives and senior leaders. It works with how you think, decide and show up, at the scale and pressure of a senior role, where your choices ripple through a whole organization.

The two terms overlap, and many coaches use them interchangeably. For Hakim, both start in the same place: leading yourself first, so you can lead others with clarity, confidence and compassion.

What can I expect from working with a transformational leadership coach like Hakim?

You can expect a coaching experience that doesn’t just move the needle; it moves you. This isn’t about surface-level tips or temporary motivation. It’s about deep, lasting transformation from the inside out.

Hakim’s work with clients is rooted in powerful, real conversations that challenge the way you think, lead, and live. You’ll gain clarity on who you are, what matters most, and how to lead with more confidence, presence, and compassion.

Expect to be seen, stretched, and supported as you uncover new possibilities for yourself and those you lead. This is about becoming the kind of leader (and human) you know you’re here to be.

Who are your typical clients?

Hakim works with high-performing, values-driven leaders (founders, CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs) who are successful by most standards but know there’s more available to them.

They come to Hakim when they’re ready to evolve, not just as leaders of businesses, but as leaders of themselves. Hakim’s clients are often navigating big transitions, high-stakes decisions, rapid growth, or the quiet sense that something deeper is calling them forward.

What they all have in common? A willingness to do the inner work that leads to greater clarity, authenticity, and impact.

How is Hakim’s coaching different from other leadership coaches?

Most leadership coaching focuses on strategies, systems, and doing more. Hakim focuses on helping you become more of you: more present, more aligned, more effective, and more powerful from the inside out.

What sets Hakim’s coaching apart is the depth of the conversation and the transformation that emerges from it. Hakim doesn’t offer cookie-cutter frameworks or surface-level advice. He helps you slow down, zoom out, and lead with greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and clarity of purpose.

This isn’t about tweaking tactics. It’s about elevating the way you lead your life, so everything you build from there is sustainable, successful, and fully aligned with who you really are.

How do you define transformational leadership?

Transformational leadership is less about controlling others and more about elevating them. It’s about leading from within, with a clear sense of self, a grounded purpose, and a deep care for the people you serve.

It’s the kind of leadership that doesn’t rely on titles or tactics to inspire. It comes from your being: how you listen, how you choose, how you respond, how you lead yourself first. When that shifts, everything else follows. Teams thrive. Cultures change. Impact (and revenue) multiplies.

What topics or areas does Hakim focus on in his coaching?

Hakim coaches across the full spectrum of leadership, personal growth, and human performance, because how you lead in one area affects how you lead everywhere.

The core areas Hakim focuses on include self-leadership, emotional intelligence, clarity of vision, time and energy mastery, powerful communication, mindset shifts, navigating transition, and building aligned, high-performing teams.

But more than a checklist of topics, your work with Hakim will focus on what matters most to you: the areas where growth will create the greatest ripple effect in your leadership and life.

What is Hakim’s coaching philosophy?

Hakim’s coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that leadership starts with self-leadership. Hakim has a unique ability to create a space where powerful conversations unlock clarity, shift perspectives, and reconnect you to your deepest values.

This work is not about fixing; it’s about revealing. Who you are in each moment, as a leader, partner, parent and person, is where real transformation happens. Hakim coaches with compassion, curiosity, and candor, helping you expand into the version of yourself that leads with integrity, emotional intelligence, and purpose. When you lead yourself well, everything else flows from there.

What approaches does Hakim draw on?

Hakim is an NLP-certified Transformational Leadership Coach, with additional training in Emotional Intelligence, Success and Life Coaching, Conversational Hypnosis, T.I.M.E. (Time Integration for Maximum Empowerment) Techniques, EFT Tapping, and Reiki.

He draws on whichever approach serves the moment, always tailored to you and the leadership work in front of you, and only ever with your agreement.

How is coaching different from consulting or mentoring?

Coaching is a collaborative, client-centered process that empowers you to find solutions within yourself. Unlike consulting, which provides direct advice, or mentoring, which draws from personal experience, coaching focuses on unlocking your full potential through guided discovery. It all starts and ends with you.

The process

How do I choose the right executive coach?

Start with how the first conversation feels. The right coach makes it safe to be honest and is willing to challenge you. If you leave feeling both seen and stretched, that’s a good sign.

Beyond that, look for experience with leaders at your level and with the kind of decisions you’re facing, a clear sense of how they work and what an engagement looks like, a firm commitment to confidentiality, and recommendations from people they’ve coached. It’s worth speaking with more than one coach before you choose.

Hakim’s Connection Call is a chance to experience the conversation before either of you commits.

How do I get started with coaching?

It starts with a short request. Share a little about yourself and what’s prompting this, and Hakim reviews it personally. If the timing and fit feel right, you’ll arrange a Connection Call: a chance to connect, hear what’s on your heart, and explore if this work is right for you.

In your Connection Call, Hakim will ask questions, listen deeply, and offer honest reflections. You’ll get a real sense of what it feels like to be in conversation with him, not just conceptually, but energetically.

If it feels aligned, you’ll talk about what working together could look like. And if not? You’ll still leave with more clarity than you came in with. Either way, the invitation is simple: show up as you are.

How does the coaching process work?

You will start first with a 30-minute Connection Call to determine level of commitment, coachability and clarity. If it’s determined that powerful work can be done together, a 60-minute coaching conversation will be scheduled to better understand your specific goals. This will be followed by a 30-minute Decision Call to finalize a confident “yes” or “no.” If you already know your answer by the end of the coaching conversation, the two are combined; if you’d like time to decide, the Decision Call is scheduled. If there is a decision to proceed, the invoice will be sent and the first session will be scheduled.

In your personalized sessions, you will work with Hakim to further identify key areas of growth, establish actionable strategies, and build the mindset shifts that create lasting results.

How many sessions do clients typically have?

Engagements are six or 12 months, with sessions weekly or every other week, depending on your goals. Each session builds on the last, creating a cumulative effect that drives substantial progress. Many clients choose to continue beyond their first engagement.

The Private Leadership Intensive works differently: it’s a focused engagement of about six to eight weeks, built around three days away with Hakim.

What happens in a coaching session?

Success in transformational coaching isn’t just tracked through goals or metrics. It’s experienced through who you are becoming. While we certainly can and do identify tangible outcomes and leadership KPIs, the real measure of success lies in the shifts you make in how you think, show up, and lead.

The real work happens in conversation: blind spots come into view, clarity sharpens, and new ways of leading become second nature. Success often shows up as a renewed sense of purpose, improved relationships, greater emotional presence, and the courage to lead authentically. It’s not just about doing more; it’s about becoming more of who you truly are.

Do you offer virtual coaching sessions?

Yes. Hakim works with clients all over the world via Zoom, which offers flexibility while maintaining the same level of depth, connection, and effectiveness as in-person coaching. In-person coaching and retreats are available based on capacity and with further discussion.

What is your approach to accountability?

Accountability with Hakim isn’t about pressure; it’s about presence. It’s not about doing more just to check a box; it’s about aligning your actions with who you say you want to be.

Hakim will challenge you with compassion, remind you of your vision, and reflect back what he sees in you at your best, especially when pressure makes it hard to see. You’ll co-create practices, commitments, and ways of tracking growth that feel meaningful, not mechanical.

The real accountability is to your integrity: to showing up for the leadership (and life) you’ve said matters most.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Confidentiality is a firm commitment, not just a professional standard: what you share stays between you and Hakim. The space you create together with Hakim is built on trust, honesty, and safety.

Hakim names clients only with their permission, through recommendations they’ve chosen to share publicly, such as on LinkedIn.

Everything you share in a session stays between you and your coach. You can speak freely, explore what’s real, and be fully seen without performance or pretense. That kind of space is rare, and it’s where the most powerful transformation happens.

Readiness and results

How do I know if I’m ready for coaching?

You’re ready when something inside you knows there’s more: more clarity to access, more alignment to live into, more power to lead with.

If you’re asking bigger questions, feeling called to evolve, or simply tired of leading from a place that no longer feels authentic or sustainable, then you’re ready. Clients who work with Hakim don’t come to him because they’re broken; they come because they’re ready to break through.

Readiness isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about being open, willing, and courageous enough to step into a space where growth is not only possible; it’s inevitable.

What results can I expect to see from coaching?

Expect to experience real, lasting shifts, not just in what you do, but in who you are. Clients often report feeling more grounded, confident, clear, and connected: to themselves, their purpose, their teams, and the people they love.

Yes, you’ll likely see external wins: better communication, stronger leadership presence, improved decision-making, increased performance and more aligned results. But the deeper transformation? That’s internal. You’ll start noticing how you respond differently under pressure, how you lead with more intention, and how much more energy you have when you’re no longer hustling to prove your worth.

The result is a leader who’s powerful not because of a title, but because they lead with truth, compassion, and clarity. Every leader and every engagement is different, so results vary.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Transformation doesn’t follow a stopwatch, but you may feel it begin in the very first conversation. Some clients walk away from their first session with a major shift in perspective, while others notice the momentum building steadily over time.

This work is layered and lasting. You’ll start seeing subtle but powerful changes, like how you handle challenges, how present you are in relationships, how grounded you feel in decisions. These shifts compound.

It’s not about quick fixes. It’s about deep, meaningful growth that sticks, because it’s rooted in who you are becoming, not just what you’re trying to change.

How much does executive coaching with Hakim cost?

This is an investment in your leadership, your well-being, and your evolution: not just in what you do, but in who you are.

Hakim chooses to work with a select number of clients in a high-touch, deeply personalized way. That means the financial investment reflects the level of care, presence, and transformation you receive. Hakim is not the cheapest coach, and he doesn’t aim to be. His aim is to be the most impactful coach you’ll ever work with.

You’ll talk openly about pricing during your Connection Call or a subsequent call, and together you’ll determine the structure, whether 1:1 sessions, a retainer, or a longer-term partnership, that best supports your growth and your goals.

It starts with a conversation.

A first conversation is a chance to connect and explore whether this work is right for you.
